In this years ENTER ART FAIR we can’t wait to show you the eminent tapestries by Ane Henriksen from the middle of the 1990’s💥

Textiles are not only crafts and design - they are also part of art history. Tapestries belong in art museums just as much as paintings. Henriksen is a fine example of that💫

Here is the two works “Lamba Mena” & “Erosion”

“Lamba Mena” is an African burial cloth and means red cloth.

Both works are part of the series “Verdenstæpper / Ligklæder”

Ane Henriksens textile works are in the permanent collections of international institutions including Designmuseum Danmark, the Danish Arts Foundation, and the New Carlsberg Foundation. Internationally at the Musée Jean Lurçat et de la Tapisserie contemporaine in France and Textilmuseet in Borås Sweden.

Ane Henriksen has won countless awards and grants and has exhibited internationally in decades 🌟

Ane Henriksen is also represented by RICHELDIS FINE ART in Spain & browngrotta arts in USA
