Industrial objects were never designed to be admired. They were made to withstand use, weather and time. Yet it is often this absence of decoration that gives them their lasting appeal. The FUNKI collection borrows that same tradition. Hand-welded from brushed aluminium or raw iron, each piece favours construction over embellishment, allowing proportion, weight and material to carry the work. Every civilisation leaves behind its vessels. Long after furniture disappears and textiles decay, bowls and jars remain, preserving evidence of both necessity and taste. The Alice Object belongs to that lineage. Its rounded porcelain form gestures towards the amphora, though stripped of decoration and distilled into a contemporary silhouette.
