REN marks a new chapter for TAMEKO as the brand’s first piece made in Peru, bringing its restrained approach to soft materials together with a country whose relationship with alpaca and textile making stretches back centuries.

Baby alpaca is among the finer grades of alpaca fibre, selected for its particularly fine diameter and soft handle. Despite its name, the term refers to the quality and fineness of the fibre rather than simply the age of the animal.
