I did this interpretation of the Japanese Hanami tradition last weekend for .dk Borgergade🐠

I only had 3 days to complete. So it was very challenging😩

Hanami marks the arrivel of the sakura season
Sakura’s beauty is fleeting — it blooms for only a short time before its petals fall, making it a powerful symbol of impermanence and appreciation of the present moment. This reflects the Japanese concept of “mono no aware”, the bittersweet awareness of life’s transience.
Unlike evergreen trees, sakura does not endure — it flourishes in a brief burst of beauty, then fades gracefully, reminding us to cherish life’s fleeting moments. This idea is deeply woven into Japanese culture, inspiring haikus, paintings, and even the philosophy of wabi-sabi — finding beauty in the imperfect, the temporary, and the simple.🌸💠

I found inspiration in the way the young people celebrate the gathering Yozakura- which means Night cherry. They only go out in the night, when darkness arived. suddenly sea spirits and seamonsters came alive, also i found inspiration from the Japanese mytologhie.

I tried to incorperate the 4 basic elements fire, air, water and earth🌎

Some scenes from the making proces last weekend at .dk Borgergade💠

A very challenging and “ out to the deep sea” process.
Newer tried this before🙄
I had to create a big piece of art in 2 days! 😳
I ended up extend it to 3 days or else it couldt work at all!

It was such a crazy weekend.. especially to work surrounded by complaming people. Who was afraid of having paint in their hair. A woman who wouldn have her voice in video! , babies crying and very Loud housemusik in the evening, so i actually felt my self being on club.. painting🥴

Its beyond time..there is no time here. A silhouette in the water or the sky..
Beyond the surface..the bare trees exist.

Berigende at kunne sprede en smule livsglæde🩷

Idag havde jeg fornøjelsen af facilitere en workshop “Mødet med sanserne i kunsten” på Ørestad Plejecenter.
Med udgangspunkt i hvordan vi i mødet med kunsten og igennem kreative processer kan skabe øget trivsel, livskvalitet og empoverment🌳

Had the pleasure to work and stay here in this very nice location in North of jutland- near Frøstrup -Lidl Strand☀️

Workfacilities and acommodation in one🙌
This beautifull house is located only 200 m from the beach, so you simply fall asleep to the sound of the waves🌊

It felt so easy and smooth to start up the paintings, everything seems right here, the energy was light and calm 💠and felt this huge urge to create🩵💚

Now im back in Copenhagen and i will continue my work. Dont know Whats coming up- ill guess i follow my intuition🌕

Tour Klitmøller- Cold Hawai🌊
Went on a 40 km bike ride tour on my surprisingly very expensive rental bike, which i could rent a car for same amount 🙄 to see Klitmøller and visit a friend.
But it was totally worth the trip 💖
