We often feel that our space is small, crumped, we start to consider building an extension or moving to a bigger house. There are solutions though that do not require complete remaking. Just by opening the facades, adding more windows, playing with the angles of linings , choosing light materials we can completely change the perception of the space. Look how we transformed the living room in Vedbæk. LightUp redesigned the roof to make the room look spacious and bright. Now it represents well its owners : the modern family with the healthy lifestyle. @ Vedbæk

Great projects can be created only collaborating with open minded and willing to experiment clients. A family living in Copenhagen was struggling to make functional and attractive pass-through living room. I redesigned the room to separate family space from the entrance. Transparent wall helped differentiating the relax area, the bench and magazine containers created the frame for incorporated sofa and hid a radiator. Finally the selection of natural wood and mild colors with plants created cosy and sophisticated character.

Canteens, restaurants in big volume spaces often lack good daylight and atmosphere that enhances relaxation. Well balanced daylight through the roof adds enormous quality to the space and in addition with greenery - creates a feeling of urban jungle. The pictures shows my proposal for a shopping center restaurant close to Vienna.

Adding green roofs and terraces with plants 🌱 is an excellent solution to improve our life quality in the city and the climate. The proximity of nature makes us happy, gives an opportunity to spend more time outdoors. Happy to see the interior design project taking shape. The simple, wooden oak balustrade with the plant container contributes to the modern look of the room.
