I’m so proud to have been invited to collaborate with Caroline, the woman behind in celebration of International Women’s Day.

As part of our collaboration, I created The Knot, a small sculptural knot formed from extruded clay and shaped by hand. Made in black stoneware, available exclusively through SÆTTER.

Hands of knowledge ♡

After almost 20 years of practice, the collaboration between my hands and clay is almost a hidden language and rhythm that is difficult to put into words. Even though the rhythm is known, there is still much to learn. That's why I never get bored with repetition - I and my hands become smarter with each cup that is created.

Lately, I’ve been quiet here.
Running a one-person studio means wearing many hats — maker, customer care, photographer, storyteller, dreamer. And somewhere in between, I’m also a mother, trying to stay awake through bedtime stories.

It’s not always easy to balance it all.
Some days, the rhythm feels off — other days, everything flows.

Each morning, I greet the elements: the sun, the sea, and the wind as I walk my son to school. And later, in the studio, I return to the earth — shaping, listening, grounding.

If I’ve been a little absent, it’s only because life — and clay — have demanded both hands.

Do you ever feel the same — caught between creating, caring, and simply being? ♡
