As co-founder of Barber Osgerby, his work is widely recognised for its precision and material focus — qualities that are evident here. The project retains much of the original structure, with exposed timber framing and simple volumes defining a series of calm, functional spaces.

Nested in the Savoie region of France, this chalet placed just off the slopes of Val d’Isère invites for a sophisticated yet authentic après-ski experience.

Behind the charming chalet is Swedish interior design studio, Artilleriet Studio. The aim was to create a space that felt quietly familiar, like a home away from home. A deep crimson dining table anchors the centre of the interior, conceived for long, communal gatherings that linger into the evening. It is framed by a custom kitchen in solid oak and marble, fitted with a 3-hole Christiansborg faucet in burnished brass.
