🔊 Collaboration with PURIFI Audio: The Best Transducers, High Value Creation, Local Production

At A Sound Experience / Akkurat Audio ApS, we chose to collaborate with PURIFI Audio from the very beginning, even before our first garage built prototype, with the aim of designing our Akkurat Audio speaker line using the latest technology to achieve minimal distortion, high SPL and power handling, a neutral sound profile, and scalability. This is also a local partnership (~25 km from our address), which aligns perfectly with our design philosophy.

Over the past decade, PURIFI Audio has virtually revolutionized the bass and midrange transducer market with their many proprietary technologies, focusing on minimizing distortion, coloration, and impact at high SPL levels.
Their most visible technology is the wave-shaped PURIFI Audio Neutral Surround, which characterizes all their transducers. We strongly recommend visiting their website for more details.

Fun Fact:
Akkurat Audio was among the first manufacturers to design speakers and subwoofers with more than one PURIFI Audio transducer in the same cabinet.

Akkurat Audio uses one or more PURIFI Audio transducers in sizes 5.25", 6.5", 8", and 10", always with a voice coil.
In combination with Mundorf EB GmbH’s fantastic Air Motion Tweeters from their top series, our Akkurat Audio systems deliver an A Sound Experience with scalability that is hard to match in the same category.

Throwback: Thank You to Our Partners and Guests
Dear partners and participants in our B**r & Audio Event at Gamma Brewing Company on April 24th 2026

We deeply appreciate your participation and contributions to the wonderful atmosphere. We hope you had an A Sound Experience beyond the ordinary.

Event Setup
The event took place in the large hall of the brewery, where our Akkurat Audio Luna Station 2.2 system was presented with:
- Primare’s high-performance A35.8 power amplifier
- Trinnov Audio's remarkable Altitude 16 multichannel processor
- Each Akkurat Audio Luna speaker and Station subwoofer was powered by 750W (4 Ohm).

Due to the size of the room, we experienced:
- Almost no room modes or standing wave issues
- Near-perfect linear frequency response with minimal use of Trinnov’s advanced tools

Special Guests:
We were honored to host several exciting guests, including:

Kim Nordtorp Madsen PURIFI Audio, who presented some of their groundbreaking technologies, including their impressive surrounds used in their transducers. At A Sound Experience / Akkurat Audio ApS, we exclusively use PURIFI Audio's transducers.

Andreas Deltorp Malte Gormsen Møbelsnedkeri, who shared insights into their extraordinary projects in collaboration with top-tier restaurants, their iconic furniture, and custom-milled interior designs for both commercial spaces and high-end private homes. In close collaboration with Malte Gormsen Møbelsnedkeri, A Sound Experience ApS / Akkurat Audio ApS offers tailored solutions that combine aesthetics with exceptional, discreet audio experiences.

Music and Socializing

After the official program, guests had plenty of time to socialize, play their favorite tracks, and engage in lively discussions.

The evening concluded with brewmaster Peter and brewer Tom staying late, testing everything from electronic to classical and bagpipe music in an attempt to identify any weaknesses in the system - without success!
There’s now talk of upgrading the sound system at the brewery.

A Personal Highlight:
I must admit that the most moving moment of the evening was when we played the final track, "Cosmic Gate - How This Ends". My best friend, Kasper Smed Schultz (the music artist Mikkas), was sitting there with goosebumps - what a fantastic feeling!

Why Mundorf?
As previously mentioned, we take great pride in delivering maximum value for money. That’s why all Akkurat Audio products use Mundorf components without exception. This lets us deliver class-leading SPL and sound quality while maintaining consistent clarity and tonality across our entire product range.

All our products feature the highest possible quality in internal cabling, speaker terminals, and damping materials from Mundorf.

Our Akkurat Audio speakers are equipped with AMT tweeters based on Mundorf’s top-tier series, carefully selected for their exceptional sensitivity, sound quality, and power handling. A perfect match for our USHINDI transducers from PURIFI Audio.

Where Can You Experience the Difference?
Our compact yet high-performing Akkurat Audio Satellite & Luna Speakers use specially developed crossovers with premium components from Mundorf, rarely found in or above their price range.

We operate primarily at Level 3+, our baseline for quality and price. While we typically use components beyond Level 3+, we never go for the absolute top. This approach avoids crossing the point of diminishing returns, where prices escalate exponentially for marginal performance gains.
This is where true value creation happens or Akkurat what matters!

Fun fact: Mundorf manufactures all of its products at its factory in Cologne, except for Neodymium magnets.

One Size Fits All?
Not quite. When projects demand higher SPL, larger rooms, or elevation between rows, we remove the passive crossovers from the equation and implement Outboard Active Crossovers instead. This philosophy is reflected in our larger models, which are exclusively designed without passive crossovers. This approach requires an advanced audio processor (such as those from Trinnov Audio) to control timing, filters, crossovers, frequency, PEQs, polarity, and more.

To keep complexity manageable in our A Sound Experience solutions, our lineup consists exclusively of 2-way designs.
