What happens when two icons of Danish design meet?

At the newly opened Wegner Museum in Tønder, Vibeke Klint’s handwoven rugs form part of the spatial narrative — not as decoration, but as an extension of the architecture and the furniture.

VK10, VK1, VK2 and VK3 (black and white) are now placed within the museum’s galleries, in dialogue with the work of Hans J. Wegner.

Beyond art, Vibeke Klint found inspiration in the world around her - in the quiet presence of the sea and in the landscapes she travelled through.
Encounters with Japanese aesthetics and Indigenous textile traditions in the United States subtly shaped her sense of colour, rhythm and balance.

These impressions became part of her timeless visual language.
