Postcard from Paris ❤️

Co-founder, Creative Director, and - the heart behind so many of the colorful ideas at rice -has been living and working remotely from Paris for the past five months.

For Charlotte, Paris is more than a city. It’s a feeling. Morning light through old windows, flower shops on every corner, tiny cafés buzzing with life, and that special sense of joy found in everyday moments.

Those feelings became the inspiration for our new collection, Le Bon Vivant.

"Le Bon Vivant is my love letter to Paris - and to the way this city fills me with joy, warmth, and gratitude for simply being alive." ❤️

Creating this collection has been a joyful journey, and we're so happy to finally share it with you. We really hope you'll love the new collection just as much as we do.

The title of our new AW26 collection is Le Bon Vivant - this means someone who appreciates the good life. Food - friends - party - you name it…
It is our colorful, friendly appreciation post - a little cheers to living well - and doing it the rice way. Searching for quirky details, being open to beautiful colors anywhere and everywhere, and of course the joy of appreciating what is right in front of your eyes.

The collection is inspired by charming cafés, colorful streets, cute vintage treasures found at Parisian markets, and that special feeling when everyday life gets to feel a little extra. Enjoy happy florals, timeless checks, beloved stripes, and dreamy details with a little nod to the city of love.

Biodiversity starts locally 🌱

Today, on International Day for Biological Diversity, we want to celebrate the small actions that can make a big difference over time.

At rice, we try to do our part through rice happy earth 💚 It’s a long-term nature project close to our headquarters in Denmark, where former farmland is slowly turning into a living landscape. So far, we’ve planted 65,000 trees across 20 species, created wildflower areas, restored lakes, and made more space for nature to thrive - one small step at a time.

Now that spring has arrived at rice happy earth 🌱 we can see biodiversity unfolding all around us - blooming wildflowers, growing trees, buzzing bees, and busy insects slowly bringing more life to the area.

There’s a saying we often return to:

“No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone.”
