THE WHITE Hotel, Algiers

A quiet urban sanctuary.

The White is a boutique hotel that listens to the Casbah: shade before glare, air before noise. A breathable double skin reimagines qaïm naim, sifting light into soft patterns. Rooms stay cool and private, opening to patios and shaded walkways. The lobby reads like a courtyard, a calm arrival from Rue Cervantes. At night the façade becomes a lantern for the neighborhood. Hospitality as serenity.

Un sanctuaire urbain et apaisé.

The White est un hôtel boutique qui écoute la Casbah: l’ombre avant l’éblouissement, l’air avant le bruit. Une double peau respirante réinvente le qaïm naim et tamise la lumière en motifs délicats. Les chambres restent fraîches et intimes, ouvertes sur des patios et des parcours ombragés. Le lobby s’aborde comme une cour, arrivée calme depuis la rue Cervantès. Le soir, la façade devient une lanterne pour le quartier. L’hospitalité comme apaisement.

NIKE Concept

A retail experience shaped by speed and light.
We carved a warm wood canopy over the reception, ran a “runway” of embedded LEDs through the floor, and wrapped the façade with dynamic fins that pulse after dark. The result is a calm, premium space that keeps the Swoosh in motion from street to checkout.

• Lobby and reception under a ribbed wood light box
• Seamless “runway” aisle for try-ons and product drops
• Black steel, warm slats, polished floors, and accent marble
• Night façade with programmable vertical lines and a floating logo
• Clean ceilings that double as wayfinding

HAYEK Office Building, SARPI · Hydra, Algiers

On the hills of Hydra, a white veil wraps an office building like the Algerian hayek.
The envelope protects from the sun and the city’s gaze, then opens with small stitched-like apertures that let light dance inside. The ground level is porous and civic, recalling souk arcades and neighborhood patios. Inside, a ribbon of water and a marble sphere greet visitors. The reception wall is dressed in blue zellige, a quiet tribute to Mediterranean craft.

Corridors glow with colored daylight from deep reveals. Privacy and openness meet. Memory and modernity hold the same line.

Design notes :

• Climate-first skin with deep frames, shading, and filtered light
• Public ground floor, flexible office plates above, roof views to Hydra’s pines
• Materials kept honest: white render, lattice concrete, aluminum frames, local ceramics

A contemporary gesture that wears tradition with dignity - the building as a hayek for the city.

NOOR – Hammam & Wellness Interior
Designed by Minimalist Architects and currently under construction in Kouba, Algiers.

The concept blends warm mineral textures, soft indirect lighting, and calm curves to create a contemporary hammam experience.

Key moves: a quiet reception with a glowing identity wall and terracotta blade, seamless micro-cement surfaces, integrated cove lights that guide the eye, copper wash bowls, and ergonomic benches with rounded edges for comfort and flow.

Scope: concept to site coordination. More updates soon from the build.

Thrilled to share my latest design project in Paris, in Nexity Immobilier 🏙️✨

This project reflects a refined balance between modern minimalism and Parisian elegance – combining clean lines, warm materials, and functional spatial flow to create a timeless living experience.

As always, the goal was simple yet ambitious: to design spaces that feel authentic, balanced, and deeply human.
