Same parents, different results. 🌿 These two Anthurium Luxury Jungle (Anthurium nigrolaminum ‘Gigi’ × Anthurium luxurians) come from the very same cross, yet each one has developed its own character. While both keep the dark color and deeply impressed venation that make this hybrid so recognizable, differences in size, shape, and overall growth habit make each plant unique. That’s one of the most fascinating parts of growing seed-grown Anthuriums. Even within the same hybrid, no two plants are exactly alike.

Anthurium Green Giant isn’t a plant that relies on unusual colors or dramatic variegation. ✨🍃With Anthurium giganteum in its background, every new leaf seems to push the plant a little further. The influence of A. besseae aff. adds depth and character, creating foliage that feels substantial long before the plant reaches its full size.🪴⛅️ Given warmth, humidity, and bright indirect light.

Ceratostema ivanportillae is a recently described species from Ecuador, named after Iván Portilla and a great example of the country’s incredible plant diversity. 🌿 One of its most notable traits is its adaptability. Although it grows naturally in cool mountain habitats, it can also do well in warmer conditions with good humidity, regular watering, and plenty of air circulation. Bright filtered light and a moist, well-drained substrate will help it thrive. 🍃 Its distinctive growth habit and Andean origin make Ceratostema ivanportillae an exciting choice for plant enthusiasts interested in exploring species beyond orchids. ✨

Philodendron bicolor stands out for the contrast in its foliage, with deep green leaves and lighter undersides that sometimes develop soft reddish tones as the plant matures. 🌿Native to South America, this climbing species thrives in warm, humid conditions and develops beautifully when given vertical support, allowing the leaves to grow larger and more expressive over time. Bright indirect light, consistent warmth, and good humidity help bring out its best growth and natural shine. 🍃✨
