Masdevallia rosea f. alba shows a very different expression of a species usually known for its pink flowers. ✨🌿 Despite its compact growth, it produces remarkably large flowers with the long, slender sepal tails characteristic of Masdevallia.
🪴With no pseudobulbs to store water, it prefers consistently moist roots, cool conditions, high humidity, and good airflow.

Masdevallia pachyura f. pardinella stands out for its delicate flower and remarkably long sepal tails, a signature feature of M. pachyura. 🌿 But there’s more to this plant than its appearance. This form was studied and formally described at Ecuagenera by A. Doucette and José Portilla, with its description published in 2016. A beautiful example of the botanical work that happens behind the plants we grow and share.
