A Home Unfolds - Majlis

An interior influenced by the existing architecture of the building.

A series of archs implemented in the interior spaces strongly present in the most formal spaces, as it gradually fades and unfolds straight in the most intimate spaces.

Stockholm Waterfront second prize entry.

Our proposal’s main aim was to reuse and redesign out-of-service grain silos at Loudden,Stockholm as residential and mixed-use buildings, while recultivating the surrounding public areas to make up for the greenery lost in this previously-deforested land.

A conceptual project, Dubai Creek Center.
The Creek Center is a large cultural hub shaped by all the activities and various cultures within its walls, reflecting the three main communities living in Dubai; Middle Eastern, Asian and Arabic, thus highlighting Dubai’s cosmopolitan diversity.
This project is a proposal for six towers of residential, recreational and administrative use, over a large double-floored commercial and public podium.
The podium is an outdoor/indoor modern interpretation of the traditional Souq and is partially covered with a large recreational green roof as an extension to the adjacent park for the public and visitors to enjoy.
One of the Creek Center’s main areas is the sports area, where four of the towers have large playgrounds topping their roofs highlighting the most important sports activities in the three cultures, Football, Basketball, Tennis and Cricket.

- A proposal for a commercial center in Dubai Creek .

The project combines vertical mixed-use architecture with the essence of the traditional Souq, a contrast that offers visitors a distinctive engaging experience.
A set of accumulated blocks, outdoor corridors and small alleys form a multi-cultured market, partially covered with a large recreational green roof and topped with six mixed-use towers scattered and twisted with their heights adjusted, for an ideal view towards Dubai Creek area.
