At Pearl of Caesar Sodic, a HEDS - Hisham El Essawy design brought to life in collaboration with Contempo Architects in 2025, architecture and nature don't meet — they mingle. The villa’s design blurs the line between interior elegance and the raw beauty of the coast, creating a space where comfort, craftsmanship, and coastal serenity exist in perfect harmony.

The living spaces extend effortlessly outdoors — into a sculpted haven of natural textures, a stunning pool that mirrors the sky, and a whirlpool bath that invites slow, soulful moments. All of it framed by the villa’s private beach and uninterrupted views of the magical Caesar Bay.

Every story deserves a powerful first line — and ours begins at the door.

At Pearl of Caesar Sodic, a HEDS - Hisham El Essawy design brought to life in collaboration with Contempo Architects in 2025, the entrance isn’t just a threshold — it’s a declaration of soul and place.

Carved from massive, solid teak wood and hand-inlaid with genuine mother-of-pearl, the door pays tribute to both the shimmer of the sea and the hands of Egypt’s master artisans. But it’s the handle that holds a quiet kind of magic; crafted in 24-karat gold-plated brass, designed as the rising sun, radiating its mother-of-pearl rays outward to greet every guest with light, warmth, and intention.

Because we believe every home should tell its story... from the very first moment.

Inspired by the shimmer of mother-of-pearl and the soul of Egyptian craftsmanship, this villa blends local heritage with global refinement. Every detail, from the hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl door to the soft connection between indoors and the sea, tells a story of timeless elegance.

من سنوات، تواصل معي الصديق ورجل الأعمال الرائع المهندس عمرو قنديل رئيس مجلس ادارة مجموعة قنديل لعمل تصميم جديد و تحدي استثنائي وهو تصميم جديد لأكبر مركز خدمي في مجموعة قنديل للصلب الرائدة في مصر والعالم، والتحدي أن يكون التصميم متجذرًا في إرث الكيان العريق منذ القرن الـ19، وفي الوقت نفسه يعكس رؤية مستقبل قنديل للصلب.
كان الهدف ليس مجرد تصميم مبنى، بل ابتكار هوية معمارية تروي قصة قنديل للصلب —قصة الاستمرارية، والقوة، والتطور. استلهمنا التصميم من حركة وشكل الـDNA، ليعكس جوهر الكيان العريق، في مزيج متناغم بين الأصالة والحداثة.

واليوم، بعد اكتمال المشروع، أشعر بفخر كبير وأنا أراه يُفتتح رسميًا بحضور دولة رئيس الوزراء، ومعالي نائب رئيس الوزراء للتنمية الصناعية ووزير الصناعة، ووزير الاستثمار. لحظة تؤكد أن التصميم ليس مجرد شكل، بل جزء من مستقبل الصناعات الكبرى.

كل التحية لصديقي المهندس عمرو قنديل ولكل فريق قنديل ستيل، الذين جعلوا من هذا الحلم واقعًا. وسعيد بأن يكون لي ولفريق HEDS دور في تصميم هذا الصرح الصناعي العملاق.

التصميم ليس رفاهية، بل هو حجر الأساس لصناعة الغد.

Years ago, my incredible friend, Eng. Amr Kandil , approached me with an exceptional challenge: creating a new design for the largest service center in the renowned Kandil Steel Group, a leader in Egypt and worldwide. The challenge was to craft a design deeply rooted in the legacy of this iconic entity since the 19th century, while simultaneously reflecting Kandil Steel’s vision for the future.

The goal was not just to design a building, but to create an architectural identity that tells the story of Kandil Steel—a story of continuity, strength, and evolution. We drew inspiration from the movement and structure of DNA, symbolizing the very essence of this prestigious brand, blending heritage with modernity in a seamless and powerful way.

Today, as the project reaches completion and is officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry, and the Minister of Investment, I couldn’t be prouder. This moment reaffirms that design is not just about aesthetics—it is an integral part of shaping the future of major industries.
