Job Title: Site Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a A Site Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing the technical and organizational aspects of construction projects, ensuring that the project is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with design specifications and industry standard
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Ex*****on:
• Interpret and implement project designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Plan and manage daily site activities to meet project deadlines.
2. Site Supervision:
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors and laborers, ensuring efficient task delegation and ex*****on.
3. Technical Duties:
• Conduct site surveys and assessments.
• Resolve technical issues on-site, liaising with architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Test materials and approve construction methods.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, material usage, and work progress reports.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
5. Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all site activities comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety checks and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Experience: +5 years of experience in construction site management.
• Skills:
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Work Environment
• Field-based role with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Involves frequent site visits and occasional long working hours.
Additional Requirements
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to multiple sites if necessary.
