A beautiful moment where storytelling came to life — exploring the roles of queens and kings, leadership, power, and legacy through culture, curiosity, and young minds.
Proud to see our dolls traveling beyond borders, carrying Egypt’s story with them.

In 2018, I took part in my first UNIMA, Union Internationale de la Marionnette, the International Puppetry Organization, exhibition, organized by Walid Badr. That moment marked the beginning of a journey where I presented dolls made with passion and realized that what I create is more than dolls, it is stories and identity.

Today, I return to the same forum after years of learning and growth, carrying a full journey under the name PAF dolls.

I documented this beginning in my book Doll for the Planet, because it was a true turning point.

With sincere thanks Walid Badr for establishing an inclusive platform that brings together doll makers across the Middle East, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Egypt and the Arab Theatre Institute, creating a space where our stories can connect.

Coming back today is an extension of a dream that started with a doll.

في سنة 2018 شاركت لأول مرة في معرض UNIMA،
(Union Internationale de la Marionnette).
هي أكبر منظمة دولية متخصصة في فن الدمى والعرائس في العالم.

بتنظيم وليد بدر. اللحظة دي كانت بداية رحلة عرضت فيها عروسه صنعتها بحب، واكتشفت إن اللي بعمله مش مجرد عروسه، دي حكايات وهوية.

النهارده برجع أشارك في نفس الملتقى بعد سنين من التعلم والتجربة، ومعايا رحلة كاملة باسم PAF Dolls.

حكيت عن البداية دي في كتابي Doll for the Planet، لأنها كانت نقطة تحول مهمة في حياتي.

شكر كبير لوليد بدر على إنه عمل منصة جامعة بتجمع صانعي الدُمى من كل أنحاء الشرق الأوسط، بالتعاون مع وزارة الثقافة المصرية الهيئه العربيه للمسرح، وفتح مساحة نقدر نتقابل فيها وتتحكي فيها حكاياتنا

Managed by Walid Badr the Arab Theatre Institute, in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture – Cairo Puppet Theatre, this regional forum celebrates the rich world of puppet and doll arts across Egypt and the Arab region.
