, often referred to as King Tut, was the second king of the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt, ruling from approximately 1332 to 1323 BCE. His reign was relatively short, and he ascended to the throne at a young age, around 9 or 10 years old. Tutankhamun is best known today for his nearly intact tomb, which was discovered in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter. The tomb’s discovery provided a wealth of artifacts and insights into ancient Egyptian culture and burial practices.
