URBAN ⋈ THINGS IS HIRING

We're growing. Two new seats at the bench, one on the screen and one on the drawing board.

Since 2018 we've built furniture in Cairo that's meant to last a lifetime: Scandinavian calm, Cairo warmth, over-engineered on purpose. The work is getting bigger, so the team is too.

The jury’s out, Qady El Plage is the best seat on the beach.

المحكمة منعقدة. The court is now in session.

Meet قاضي البلاج — Qady el Plage, the Judge of the Beach.

Our Beach Chair made by hand at The Manufactory in Cairo: solid teak or oak, stainless-steel hardware, fabric you can swap and wash — folds flat, carries easy, and guaranteed five summers at least.

درجة أولى — بالفحص، مش بالواسطة. ناجح بامتياز.

The verdict: court adjourns — to the beach.

يحيا القاضي، يعيش القاضي.

We wrote down what we believe.
Eight things — about the craft, the method, the company, the price, and how we stand behind what we ship. None of it is meant to sound clever. It's meant to be held to.
Read it. Hold us to it.

What we know, we know by hand.

Ten years of honing the trade — piece by piece, decision by decision, sharpening what we make and how we make it. The result is work built with care, and built to last.

Urban Things just leveled up. The Manufactory is open. Follow along.
