¿Y a ti?

The magic of playing with pigment and water💧

In these atmospheric studies made by Guillermo Cano Rojas, the key has been controlling the drying process to achieve everything from the softly blurred gradients in the clouds to the drier, more contrasting brushstrokes of the horizon.

The paper's texture and clean pigmentation do all the heavy lifting ☁️✨

And you? Do you prefer working on skies wet-on-wet or do you prefer dry layers? I'm reading you 👀

The true star of K-pop: Demon Hunters couldn't be left without his own portrait on paper 🐯✨ I really wanted to draw Derpy and capture that perfect mix of cuteness and chaos that has.

For this project I used the Derwent Procolour range: they have the ideal combination of the intense coverage of a wax pencil and the firm precision point you need to detail the fur layer by layer, without the drawing becoming saturated with pigment too quickly.

What do you think of the final result? 🐅✨

🎨 Exploring the magic of PanPastel with its specialized tools ✨

Why aren't regular paintbrushes used? The answer is in the photo.

The Soft tools (those little sponges with colored applicators) are designed to pick up and deposit PanPastel's ultra-fine pigments without damaging them. They're super soft and allow you to:

🔶 Load the perfect amount of color

🔶 Blend gently

🔶 Control the stroke, from a broad smudge to finer details.
