Introducing Nodum, a new travertine furniture collection designed by our studio for Kleos | Art in Stone.

Comprising a modular coffee table, a bench, side tables and magazine racks, the collection focuses on the connections between its elements.

Nodum is on view this week at Marmomac in Verona, within the Società del Travertino Romano space Hall 6 Stand C6.

At Casa Alta even the most private spaces remain oriented towards the horizon. The choice of Venetian blinds allows the views to remain present while filtering the light and providing privacy.

The stone extracted during the excavation of Casa Alta never left the site. Local licorella was reused to shape the terraces, boundaries and fully clad the façades. Here, Lino Castro works each stone by hand before laying it in the dry-stone walls.

Casa Alta, Cadaqués.

A dark oak envelope surrounds the kitchen island and extends into a table and low counter. Everything happens around this central piece, which becomes the point of reference for the house.

Its height varies to create different degrees of openness and enclosure: more contained around the kitchen and more open towards the counter and table. The natural grain of the oak runs across its surfaces, defining the character of the piece.
