E.wax est bien plus qu'un simple projet. C'est une aventure de recherche et d'expérimentation qui explore les possibilités infinies de la technologie et les riches traditions artisanal du passé.
Mon processus de conception de motifs est une véritable rencontre entre le passé et le futur. À l'aide d'une machine CNC spécialement conçue, j’imprime de la cire pour créer des réserves, rappelant la technique traditionnelle d'Indonésie, le Batik. Chaque détail est soigneusement pensé et exécuté, mêlant habilement la précision de la technologie moderne à la beauté brute de l'artisanat traditionnel.
Une fois les motifs réservés créés, je les plonge dans des teintures naturelles, donnant vie à une palette de couleurs vibrantes et authentiques. Cette étape artisanale ajoute une profondeur et une dimension supplémentaires à mes créations, mettant en valeur l'essence même de ma démarche. L'harmonie entre l'innovation et la tradition.

My pattern design process is a true encounter between the past and the future. Using a specially designed CNC machine, I print wax to create reserves, reminiscent of the traditional Indonesian technique, Batik. Every detail is carefully considered and executed, skillfully blending the precision of modern technology with the raw beauty of traditional craftsmanship.
Once the reserved patterns are created, I immerse them in natural dyes, bringing to life a palette of vibrant and authentic colors. This artisanal step adds depth and extra dimension to my creations, showcasing the very essence of my approach. The harmony between innovation and tradition.
