A project I’m incredibly proud of. 🤎

I’ve been a little quiet here lately.
Not because I stopped creating, but because I’m figuring out what the next chapter of my work will look like.

And somewhere in that process, I realised I don’t need to have everything figured out before I can share the work I love.

This bedroom is one of those projects.

Bold wallpaper, warm earthy tones, different patterns and textures, custom-made storage and a few unexpected details. A bedroom with character — warm, luxurious and, most importantly, personal.

Because that’s how I love to work.

I don’t design for my clients, I design with them.

There’s a lot of contact, talking, sharing ideas, changing our minds and making decisions together along the way. Because a home shouldn’t look like my interior. It should feel like yours.

Maybe that’s also why every project I create feels so different. The person living there is always part of the design.

And whatever shape my work takes next, I know this will always be at the heart of it:

Remember my photoshoot from last week? I just received the first preview.

These beautiful photos were taken by Cheila. Besides photographing my latest interior design project, she also got me in front of her camera.

And I absolutely loved it!
I don’t think I even need to explain that when you look at these photos. 😄

She took many more, so you’ll definitely be seeing them pop up here over the coming weeks.

Why these new photos?

Because it’s time to give my business a fresh face.

A lot has changed in my life over the past few months, and of course my new start in Spain has everything to do with that. I’m noticing that it’s not just me who’s changing — my business is evolving along with me.

So I’m taking a fresh look at things: what still feels like me? What gives me energy? What do I want to take with me, and what am I ready to do differently?

I don’t know exactly where it will all lead yet. And actually, I really like that. Not everything has to be figured out in advance.

These photos were the first step. Next up: my website and social media.

Over the coming months, I’ll take you along with me every now and then as this new chapter unfolds. Not just the end result, but everything that happens along the way.

Because apparently, it’s not just my hair that’s in motion. 😉

Wat een fantastisch project was dit! 🙌
Van ontwerp tot projectbegeleiding en uitvoering. Heerlijk om regelneef te zijn en contact te hebben met alle verschillende partijen, om ervoor te zorgen dat de bewoners op afstand toch helemaal betrokken blijven bij het hele proces, om troubleshooter te mogen zijn en snel te schakelen als dingen anders lopen (en dat gebeurt altijd in een verbouwing), om ervoor te zorgen dat “no matter what” we met z’n allen de positieve vibe vasthouden en allemaal toewerken naar het prachtige eindresultaat.

Bij deze wil ik alle betrokken partijen onwijs bedanken voor de fijne samenwerking. Dankzij jullie is het zo mooi geworden!

Two Airbnb studios that were ready for an upgrade after 5 years.

From renovation to final styling — repainting, wallpapering, new flooring, updated bathrooms and a complete interior setup.

Because in short-term rentals, it’s really important how a space feels the moment guests walk in.

Now refreshed, elevated and ready for new bookings.
