Šī pieredze uz visiem laikiem izmainīja manu estētisko uzstveri. Mācību kurss “European art of dining” vienā no senākajām un slavenākajām etiķetes un protokola skolām Šveicē, Institut Villa Pierrefeu, kura dibināta 1954.gadā, deva man unikālas zināšanas un pārliecību par galda etiķetes un galda klāšanas likumiem. Izcilākie savas sfēras profesionāļi dalijās ar savu nenovērtējamo pieredzi. Mani raksti par galda klāšanas estētiku regulāri iznāk Neatkarīgās Rīta Avīzes digitālajā pielikumā “Dzīvesstils”. Some projects don’t need overthinking.

When Sanita Gasūne and , the creative director, invited me to join this project, I had an immediate feeling it was worth saying yes to.

A few days later, we were in the middle of rye and cabbage fields with a brilliant team of photographers, videographers and creatives, turning an ambitious idea into reality.

A table set in the middle of the field, beautiful tableware by Augusts Studio, changing light and a sunset we couldn’t have planned better.

Everything aligned. 🤍

Every hotel visit becomes a field notebook for me.

I observe service rituals.
I analyse tableware choices.
I watch how staff move through the room.
I notice glassware, cutlery, lighting and table spacing.

During my stay at Puente Romano, I visited Gaia, Le Petit Maison, Sea Grill and Cipriani.

What interested me most was not the food itself.

It was how each venue created a completely different guest experience through details.

A breakfast setup.
A birthday welcome in the room.
Tableside fish service.
The choreography behind the bar.

These are the details I collect, study and document.

Because every observation becomes knowledge I can later bring to restaurants, hotels and private hospitality projects.

I don’t collect tableware.
I collect hospitality ideas.
