Servicio CNC (Control Numérico por Computador) de fresado y corte de diferentes materiales (espumas, madera, plásticos, planchas de inox, aluminio, etc.) CNC services (Computer Numerical Control) allow milling and cutting of different materials (foam, wood, plastic, sheet steel, aluminum, etc.)

Controlmad advanced design center is a FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) for advanced architecture, engineering and design. Our working process is characterized by CNC technology (Computer Numerical Control), which allows making architectural components -interior and exterior ones- of furniture, models... regardless its complexity from CAD files without intermediaries, saving costs and with a high accuracy level. Founded at early 2011, controlmad tries to answer the changing environment, leaving the static concept of an architecture office and taking Anglo-Saxon concepts such as “Know-How” and “Learning-by-doing”, where is put into practice formal and theoretical research; implemented by the energy and creative spirit of workshops performed at our headquarters. We are an Authorized Rhino Training Center and Authorized Rhino FabStudio, the only one in Madrid and one of the two existing in Europe, where we teach Rhinoceros and plug-ins like Grasshopper for Parametric and Computational Design.

Grasshopper 2b is here! 🦗

After years of development and experimentation, Rhino 3D Official has officially introduced Grasshopper 2 Beta as a Rhino Beta feature, marking a new stage in the evolution of one of the most used tools for computational design.

Rather than being simply a visual redesign, Grasshopper 2 introduces a new computational architecture and new approaches to working with data, loops, fields and computation.

For now, GH2 is still in Beta, so it is a space for testing, experimenting and giving feedback.
