✨ My very first art salon was a dream realized—an evening of intentional gathering, bold storytelling, and deep dialogue. We centered voices and visions around the layered intersections of Blackness, education, parenthood, and systemic inequities.

What began as an idea to hold space for reflection and creativity became a resonant night of community care and complexity. From visual works to spirited conversation, the salon offered a chance to interrogate inherited narratives and imagine new ones—ones where Black presence isn’t just seen, but celebrated in all its nuance.
