There’s just something about tartan at Christmas… 🎄❤️

I’ve been busy in my sewing room creating these beautiful handmade tartan bows, and I couldn’t love them more!

Perfect for dressing Christmas trees, adding to festive garlands, styling fireplaces or simply bringing a little traditional country house charm into your home.

Because Christmas decorating doesn’t always have to be about following trends. Sometimes the most beautiful things are the ones that never go out of style. 🎀

After a busy day at my sewing machine, there’s nothing quite like escaping into the garden for a little fresh air and a spot of evening foraging. 🌿🤎

Wellies on, basket in hand, and off I went to see what little treasures nature had waiting for me.

A few beautiful pine branches and three lovely lemons later, I headed back inside feeling rather pleased with myself! 🍋🌲

And just like that, tonight’s dinner is sorted… lemon chicken it is! 😆

Sometimes it really is the simplest little pleasures that make a day feel special. 🤍

Five slow living things I love to do in autumn 🍂
There’s something about this time of year that naturally makes me want to slow down a little.
Lighting the candles earlier, making the house feel cosy, spending more time outdoors, enjoying a quiet coffee and noticing all those little seasonal changes that are so easy to rush past.
Nothing particularly grand, just simple things that make everyday life feel a little lovelier. 🤎
Autumn always reminds me that slow living isn’t about doing less, it’s about being a little more present in what we’re already doing. 🍁

Hello October 🤎🍂

A new month of slower days, golden light and cosy evenings. Autumn walks, warm drinks, good food and all those little seasonal touches that make home feel extra special.

This is the time of year I love most for adding warmth and texture around the home and, of course, a bow or two. 🤎

I’ve been playing with a new idea…

What do we think about oversized door bows? 🤎

I’m thinking of adding these to the Meadow & Linen collection, handmade in some of my favourite country florals, checks and seasonal fabrics.

I love how something so simple can completely transform a front door, and of course they could be changed with the seasons too. 🍂🎄

But before I get carried away in the sewing room… would anyone actually be interested in one? 😂
