“Creating your dream home” - What defines a Dream Home when we talk about a vacation home? Isn’t the home itself the dream come true?
It is, or at least it starts with buying or building the home, but it is what you want to make of it that makes that difference.
For some the dream is a place in the sun where the location is the dream and the interior is not of importance as long as it fills the basic needs.
But some of you have saved inspiration photos of your vacation dream home for years and been searching for the perfect place. You might have a very clear vision of that outdoor kitchen you dream of, or a lemon tree in your garden, a shaded pergola with a hammock for lazy afternoons and on top of the wishlist might be that turquoise sofa you have dreamt of forever 😍
Creating a dream home doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with budget, but it definitely has everything to do with your WHY.
Technically anyone can design a vacation home, meaning fill it with furniture, you don’t necessarily need a designer for that even if it helps.
But only you can create your dream home, because it is YOUR dream - you might just not know how.
Often the dream is more a feeling you want to experience in your home, maybe you know what colors you like and have a list of wishes (like that lemon tree 😉), but how to put it all together to make your vacation home become your dream home is where it becomes difficult.
