"En un primer viaje a Oaxaca con la idea de comprar objetos fascinantes nos encontramos a Leonor y su madre Gertrudis en la entrada de un pequeño mercado. Estaban trabajando con la plama para elaborar cestas de todos los tamaños y formas. Tardan un día en hacer cada cesta, el diseño y la combinación de colores lo improvisan a su criterio. Ahí nació Trudit. No disponen de internet, no siguen tendencias de moda, no producen con metodos sofisticados y sin embargo sus cestas son atemporales, versátiles e impactantes, combinan con todos los estilos pero a la vez ayudan a definir uno propio."
