Las raíces de la alfombra persa. 🧶🇮🇷

Durante generaciones, los pueblos nómadas Qashqai recorrieron las montañas y llanuras del sur de Irán, llevando consigo sus rebaños, sus tradiciones y un conocimiento transmitido de padres a hijos.

La lana de sus propios animales se convertía en hilo y, posteriormente, en alfombras y tejidos realizados completamente a mano. El proceso comenzaba con el esquilado de la lana, continuaba con su hilado y teñido, y terminaba en el telar, donde cada pieza cobraba vida.

Para los Qashqai, tejer no era simplemente un oficio. Era parte de su forma de vida y una manera de conservar su identidad, sus símbolos y su memoria a través de las generaciones.

Estas imágenes, pertenecientes a un documental filmado en 1965, nos permiten acercarnos a aquella forma de vida y a una de las tradiciones que dieron origen a algunas de las alfombras persas más reconocidas.

Hoy, en Persepolis Antiques, seguimos conservando esta tradición a través de nuestra selección de alfombras persas tejidas a mano y llenas de historia.

The Roots of the Persian Rug. 🧶🇮🇷

For generations, the Qashqai nomadic people travelled across the mountains and plains of southern Iran, carrying with them their herds, traditions, and knowledge passed down from one generation to the next.

The wool from their own animals was transformed into yarn and then into handwoven rugs and textiles. The process began with shearing the wool, followed by spinning and dyeing, and finally weaving it on the loom, where each piece came to life.

For the Qashqai, weaving was not simply a craft. It was part of their way of life and a means of preserving their identity, symbols, and memories through generations.

These images, taken from a documentary filmed in 1965, offer us a glimpse into this way of life and into one of the traditions that gave rise to some of the most distinctive Persian rugs.

Today, at Persepolis Antiques, we continue to preserve this tradition through our selection of Persian rugs, handwoven and rich in history.

Lavabo modernista de alrededor de 1900

Este lavabo modernista cuenta con un espectacular sobre de mármol siciliano, acompañado de una pila de cerámica. Su estructura está lacada y decorada en delicados tonos beige y granate, creando una combinación sobria y refinada.

Dispone de dos cajones superiores y cajones inferiores de mayor tamaño, ofreciendo un amplio espacio de almacenamiento sin perder la elegancia característica de la pieza.
