Good lighting lets you see a room.
The right lighting makes you feel it.

A softer evening. A longer dinner. Shadows moving across plaster walls. Handwoven rattan, natural fibres and sculptural forms bringing warmth to the spaces where life quietly unfolds.

Because the most memorable interiors are not simply furnished, they are felt, they are collected.

Atmosphere is the part of a room you feel before you notice anything else.

The warmth across the wall. The movement of shadow. The quiet invitation to stay a little longer.

Handwoven rattan filters light through layers of natural texture, casting intricate patterns that change with the hour and bringing a softer rhythm to the room below. More than a source of illumination, it becomes part of the architecture—and part of how the space is remembered.

Created for considered dining rooms, relaxed living spaces, Mediterranean villas, boutique hotels and restaurants where lighting is expected to do more than function. It should shape the mood, draw people inward and give the room its soul.

A neutral bedroom does not need more colour. It needs more texture.

The Berber Bed Throw is designed to give a bed depth, movement and architectural presence through material alone.

Its natural cotton base is finished with raised diagonal bands that create a quiet geometric rhythm across the surface. Softly frayed edges interrupt the clean lines, while the hand-knotted fringe adds weight and movement along the lower edge. As daylight shifts, every seam, fibre and tassel creates a different layer of shadow.

This is why a monochromatic interior can still feel rich.

Contrast does not always come from colour. It can come from smooth cotton against raw fringe, flat fabric against raised detailing, and precise architecture against the subtle irregularity of a handmade finish.

Drape it fully across the bed for the generous, enveloping character of a Mediterranean retreat. Fold it across the lower third for a cleaner boutique-hotel composition. Or allow one corner to fall naturally, letting the fringe soften the room’s architectural lines.

Across Laiya Home, we favour natural materials, handmade production and pieces designed to endure beyond a single season. Cotton, rattan, raffia, seagrass and carefully selected woods bring warmth and tactility into the home while supporting a slower, more considered approach to furnishing.

For us, sustainability begins with choosing materials that feel connected to nature, valuing the skill of the maker and creating interiors around objects intended to be kept—not quickly replaced.

Made in Indonesia and curated for considered homes, villas and hospitality interiors across Europe, each throw carries the small variations that reveal the hand behind it.

Not simply placed on the bed. Designed to change the way the entire room feels.

Before it becomes furniture, it is simply seagrass moving with the landscape.

Gathered and slowly dried, the natural fibres settle into their distinctive honeyed tones before being twisted into cords and woven by hand. It is a patient process, one that preserves the subtle variations in colour, thickness and texture that make seagrass feel unmistakably alive.

Look closely at the Porto Seagrass Bench and you can see the evidence of its making: individual strands crossing, tightening and building strength through repetition. The weave is never perfectly mechanical, because it was never meant to be. Every slight irregularity carries the character of the fibre and the touch of the artisan who shaped it.

Set against its softly curved light-wood frame, the woven seat brings warmth without heaviness and texture without excess. At the foot of a bed, inside a sunlit entryway, in a boutique hotel suite or a quiet coastal villa, it does more than offer a place to sit, it introduces a material story into the space.

The kind of piece people notice slowly, then remember.

Light should do more than illuminate a room. It should leave a trace.

Across this collection, pendants are shaped by hand in Indonesia using natural materials such as rattan, raffia, seagrass and bamboo fibres chosen not only for their texture, but for the way they filter and soften light.

The materials are dried, split, woven and tensioned around sculptural frames, creating open surfaces that allow light to pass through unevenly. The result is a warmer glow, deeper shadow and a constantly changing pattern across plaster, stone, timber and linen.

No two pieces are entirely identical. Variations in weave, tone, fibre thickness and silhouette are part of the making process—not imperfections, but evidence of the hand behind the object.

From tightly woven rattan that creates precise architectural shadows to loose raffia edges that move gently with the air, each pendant brings its own rhythm to the room. By day, it is sculpture. By evening, it becomes atmosphere.

Curated for considered homes, Mediterranean villas, boutique hotels, restaurants and hospitality spaces across Europe.

Some interiors are furnished. Others are built from objects that still carry the hands, materials, and places that shaped them.

At Laiya Home, we curate pieces with provenance: rattan pendant lights woven by hand to cast softer, more atmospheric light; sculptural chairs shaped from natural fibres and solid timber; mango-wood furniture marked by distinctive grain and tonal variation; teak tables finished to preserve the knots, texture, and character of the wood; and raffia pillows that bring depth, tactility, and warmth to a room.

Many of these pieces begin in artisan workshops in Indonesia, where traditional methods, hand-finishing, and natural materials create subtle differences from one object to the next. Those variations are not defects. They are the evidence of craftsmanship, the reason a handmade piece feels collected rather than mass-produced.

Alongside them, we select design-led European furniture and décor defined by strong proportions, refined materials, and contemporary form. Different origins, brought together by one standard: every piece must contribute more than function.

For private homes, interior designers, architects, boutique hotels, restaurants, villas, wellness retreats, and hospitality projects across Europe, the result is the same: spaces that feel layered, intentional, and impossible to confuse with anywhere else.

A pendant that changes the mood of a dining room.
A teak table that becomes the centre of a gathering.
A handcrafted chair that gives the room its identity.
A textured pillow that makes the space feel lived in.

Beautiful interiors should not simply look complete. They should have a story to tell.
