Lo que el reel no deja ver: el jarrón quieto, antes de que llegue nadie. Rosas, hortensias y anturios en rosa empolvado y azul, a la altura de la puerta, para que sea lo primero que se ve al entrar. Una paleta que nació con Julia, con un aire muy Bridgerton.
What the reel doesn’t let you see: the urn standing still, before anyone arrives. Roses, hydrangeas and anthuriums in dusty pink and blue, at the height of the door, so they’re the first thing you see on the way in. A palette that began with Julia, with a very Bridgerton feel.

El ramo empieza el día en la ventana, con la primera luz. Pasa por las manos de las niñas, por el anillo, por el paseo entre cipreses. Y termina en la mesa, en el mismo magenta. Un ramo no es un accesorio. Es el hilo de todo el día.
The bouquet starts the day by the window, in the first light. It passes through the girls’ hands, past the ring, along the cypress walk. And it ends up on the table, in the same magenta. A bouquet isn’t an accessory. It’s the thread that runs through the whole day.

Dos semanas para una boda que ya existía. Se habían casado en Puerto Rico y querían celebrarlo también aquí, en el Monasterio de Lupiana. La wedding planner nos llamó con poco más de dos semanas por delante. Tomamos su idea, conseguimos cada flor que pedían y la llevamos a un lugar que ya conocíamos: su piedra, su hiedra, su luz. Su boda, con nuestra mirada.

Two weeks for a wedding that already existed. They had married in Puerto Rico and wanted to celebrate again here, at Monasterio de Lupiana. The wedding planner called us with just over two weeks to go. We took their idea, found every flower they asked for and brought it to a place we already knew: its stone, its ivy, its light. Their wedding, through our eye.

Una flor que cae. Y vuelve.

El amaranto se derrama desde el ramo hasta el bajo del vestido y, horas después, desde el candelabro junto a la tarta. La orquídea que sostiene la novia reaparece sobre la plata, entre la invitación y el menú.

Nada se repite por casualidad. Así se dirige una historia con flores.

A flower that falls. And returns.
Amaranth spills from the bouquet to the hem of the dress and, hours later, from the candelabra beside the cake. The orchid in the bride’s hands reappears on silver, between the invitation and the menu.

Nothing repeats by chance. This is how a story is directed with flowers.
