Four of my designs that will be released by the end of this year ✨

Well, actually, the one on top, Lacewell, a sweater featuring delicate lace along the raglan lines, has already been released (Ravelry and meijuknits.com).

The two designs at the bottom of the pile are currently being test knitted and will be released in October.

And I should be launching the test knit for the second one in the pile very soon!

The Lacewell Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down.

The neckline begins with a provisional cast-on, which is later unraveled when finishing the neckband. I’ve made a step-by-step video tutorial showing the whole finishing process.

You can find the tutorial on my YouTube channel, and the Lacewell Sweater pattern is available on meijuknits.com and Ravelry.

LACEWELL is out now! 🧶🧶🧶

Lacewell is a timeless top-down raglan sweater with delicate lace panels along the raglan lines. The relaxed fit and simple Stockinette stitch body make it an easy, versatile wardrobe piece, while the carefully finished double-knit neckline adds a polished detail.

I’ve also made a video tutorial to guide you through the neckline finishing.

Ehdottomia suosikkineuleitani ovat hyvin istuvat neulepaidat. Sellaiset, jotka mahtuvat talvella toimistoon jakun alle, tai joita voi käyttää yksinään. Ei saa tulla tunnetta, että vaate putoaisi päältä tai sen asentoa pitäisi korjata koko ajan. Hihojen ja pääntien on oltava sopivan kokoiset, ja olkalinjan on oltava mukava.

Sain suunnitella tämän Karpalo-paidan uuteen Lempineuleita-kirjaan. Kirja on upea kokoelma suomalaisten suunnittelijoiden omia lempineuleita. Langat tähän malliin lahjoitti . Upeat kuvat otti . Kirja saatavilla nyt kirjakaupoista!

I’m happy to be part of Laine Nordic Knits 2, with one of my designs featured in the magazine. 🧶

The Folkia design was inspired by traditional Finnish and Nordic folk costume shirts, reinterpreted as a modern tribute to Nordic craft traditions. Puffed sleeves, a V-neckline, and a softly rounded silhouette define the design. I used four strands of silk mohair held together, which gives the garment extra warmth while still keeping it wonderfully light and airy.

Laine Nordic Knits 2 features 15 patterns from Nordic designers and yarn brands. Preorders for the magazine are open today on the website.

I’m ready to call test knitters for the Lumelle Tee! ✨

You can find the test knit call in my Ravelry group, and there is also a link in my profile to sign up.

Lumelle is a top-down party tee, worked seamlessly throughout. I’ve held a fine sequin yarn together with silk mohair. The sequins are tiny and subtle, so they are barely visible in the photos, but they add just the right amount of sparkle in real life.

The tee features ruffles on the sleeves and along the front, giving the simple shape a more festive look.

I’ve wanted a good winter tee for parties for a long time: something I could wear under a blazer or jacket, but also on its own with a party skirt or trousers. And now I finally have one. ✨

If you’d like to test knit Lumelle, you’ll find all the details through the link in my profile or in my Ravelry group.
