🇬🇧 These past two weeks we've been stencilling this master bedroom wall. Mia at Ro Living is making a four weeks apprenticeship with me.

🇫🇮 Kahden naisen voimalla maalasimme harjoittlijan kanssa sapluunakuvion tämän makuuhuoneen seiniin. Pohjalla muna-öljytemperalla maalattu uusi pinkopahvi. Myös kuvio temperalla.
Sapluunat käsin leikattuja ja malli 1700-luvulta.
Katto perinne liimamaalilla ja listoitukset pellavaöljymaalilla.
Lattialankku vanhaa. Korjausmaalattu pellavaöljymaalilla.

This seemed a little bit like Mission Impossible at first but I pulled it trough in the end 😁. The house was built in 1920 but unfortunately the interior was totally destoyed in a fire a couple of years ago. Everything has been reconstructed and renovated. My mission was to recontsruct the two overdoor paintings that also where destroyed. I only had some old, not so good, photographs to go by so the motif is original but the coulors and details are by my own hand.
A huge Thanks to my customers who gave me free hands with this project and tended so well to me! ❤️
I am also happy about the new paint shop in my area Billnäs maalikauppa • Billnäs färgbutik where I found the perfect color "Kuiskausten Lukusali" for the base! The decorations are painted i eggoil tempera. Wallpaper "Verso" from Tapettitehdas Pihlgren ja Ritola Oy.

Monotypi, mixed media.

Kun yrittäjä yrittää jäädä lomalle...
Pitää vain vähän käydä työhuoneella aloittamassa rästitöitä. Siellä hurahti sitten koko päivä 😄. Mm aloitin tämän 1930-luvulta olevan Väinö Aaltosen reliefin "Keinu" pintakorjauksen.

Some before and afters.
A very long and big project is soon coming to an end. My share (that started in December - 25) has been the surfaces, colouring and paintjobs. The guys made everything else! This is a high quality job! Everything is handmade and some reused, even the paints were made by me on site. When you see the final result it is hard to imagine how many working hours goes into a project like this! I still have some decorativepainting to do but first I need a vacation and some time to empty my head and then recalibrate my brain for the task ahead. Follow for more pictures later.

Sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you want. My dear friends couldn't find a suitable border for the wallpaper they chose, in this case Duro - Svenska Tapetmästare 's Gästgivars. So I designed and hanpainted one for them 😊

A big project I'm working on. All coulors are handblended on the sight to perfectly match the customers vision. I've used linseedoilpaint for the woodworks, eggtempera on the wall and animalgluepaint for the ceiling. The "Stencil" wallpaper is Duro's "Dellen".
