A Spring Refresh is our one-day styling service designed specifically for Airbnb and short stay owners who want their property looking and feeling its absolute best before the high season hits. ⛱️

It's not a renovation. It's not a full redesign. It's a focused, intentional reset, the kind that makes guests stop scrolling and click book.

And the best part? You don't have to do a thing.

Here's exactly how it works:

✦ We come to you, we visit your property, walk through every room and get a feel for the space, the light and what it needs
✦ We rearrange your furniture for better flow, proportion and natural light
✦ We layer textures like linen, timber, woven, so every room feels warm and considered
✦ We tighten your colour palette so everything connects cohesively room to room
✦ We refresh your décor, textiles and accessories and remove anything that's working against the space
✦ We do the shopping for you, we source every new piece, from cushions to artwork to that lamp that ties the room together within your budget
✦ We come back and put it all in place, every detail styled, every room finished
✦ We can even arrange a professional photoshoot through our preferred photography partner, so your listing photos are updated and ready to go

We’ve been thinking a lot about AI lately and what it means for the work we do. This is where we land: it can generate images, suggest ideas and arrange pixels, but it can’t replace what is actually at the heart of this job ✨

A home isn’t just a collection of beautiful rooms. It’s a life. It’s “Grandpa’s Chair”. It’s the room that still carries the feeling of childhood. The things that may not make sense on paper, but matter enormously to the people who live there.

Change is inevitable, and we’re not afraid of it. We’ll continue to adapt, evolve and optimise the way we work, embracing what the times bring while staying true to what matters most.

Because the tools may vary, but we’ll never lose the heart of what we do.

Sound is something most of us don’t think about when we’re designing our homes. We think about light, colour, how things look. But your nervous system is responding to the acoustic environment of your home all day long, whether you’re aware of it or not.

Research shows that self-selected music reduces cortisol and lowers heart rate. That birdsong activates the parasympathetic nervous system in ways that genuinely support stress recovery. That excessive reverberation in a home office quietly increases cognitive fatigue over the course of a day.

Which means the rug, the curtains, the upholstered chair in the corner - they’re not just aesthetic choices. They’re doing physiological work!

🌱Bringing nature into your home.

We are hardwired for nature. It is just how we are built.

Research keeps showing that being around natural elements, even just visually, can help lower stress, calm the nervous system and improve focus and mood. Our bodies really do respond when nature is close.

At Grounded Living, we like to bring that feeling indoors in simple, honest ways:
• Letting natural light lead the way
• Using timber, stone and linen that feel warm and real
• Soft shapes that echo the natural world
• Bringing in plants and fresh air wherever we can
