Belhomme Boys

Belhomme Boys Welcome to the World of the Belhomme Boys. Welcome to the World of "The Belhomme Boys".

Having purchased "Chateau Belhomme", the former house of senator Gaston Belhomme and naming their shop "Maison Belhomme", interior designer Lane Hunt and abstract artist David Carr became known locally as "The Belhomme Boys". Follow them as they expand their passion for interior design, art and antiques and make it into exciting businesses in the South West of France.

Part two of our staycation with our friends Jo and Dave.
On Monday we took them to Monpazier for lunch at Bistrot 2, which we had never been to before but had wanted to try for a while and it didn't disappoint. We were joined there by some more friends Kevin and Roland.
After lunch we headed to Beaumont-du-Perigord as Jo and Dave wanted to see our old shops.
On the way home we went via Villereal.
On Tuesday we went for a wine tasting at Lavaur vineyard on the way to Puy L'eveque, where we had lunch at a pizza restaurant. David and I had eaten there around 3 years ago the night before viewing our current house!.
After lunch we had a bit of retail therapy at some local shops near us.
For supper we headed to Villereal to the Nord Sud restaurant. Where David and I enjoyed pasta with truffle and for the first time I had an Irish coffee de f***y!

From Saturday we took a well deserved staycation with our friends Jo and Dave who arrived from England.
Saturday was spent relaxing over a light lunch at home, in the evening we took them to the Black prince restaurant in Monflanquin, where the annual Fete de la musique was in full swing.
On Sunday we went to Tournon-d'Agenais then a vide grenier in St Sylvestre sur lot, for lunch we headed up the hill to Penne D'agenais and went to one of our favourite restaurants, the Patio d'Hauteville which has a great panoramic view.
On the way home we went via Bonaguil Chateau for a drink.
