🌿 A little garden inspiration during a very hot summer here in South-West France.

This is a beautiful garden that Dag cared for over many years. We love the combination of the pond, perennial planting, clipped hedges and those wonderful topiary balls.

Good structure gives planting room to evolve — something we really enjoy working with.

As autumn approaches, it’s a good time to think about getting hedges and topiary back into shape after the summer growth.

🌿 **A garden is never finished — it is always becoming.** 🌿

One of the things we love about gardens is that they are always changing. With each season they grow, mature and reveal new possibilities.

We are a husband-and-wife gardening team based in South-West France, caring for gardens with a personal and thoughtful approach.

Before moving here, my husband spent many years managing beautiful English country gardens in the UK as an RHS-trained gardener. He cared for established gardens with roses, topiary, mature borders and carefully planned planting schemes.

Since making France our home, we have joined forces — combining his horticultural experience with my own love of plants, flowers and creating beautiful spaces.

We understand that many gardens here are enjoyed as much as they are treasured — and that when owners are away, it is important to have someone they trust looking after them.

We love getting to know each garden, understanding its character and helping it evolve over time. Whether it is seasonal care, pruning, planting ideas or developing new areas, we enjoy working with our clients to create gardens that continue to grow in beauty.

Autumn is a wonderful season for planting, reshaping borders and planning the next stage of your garden.

One of the things we enjoy most is creating perennial planting that develops and becomes richer each year.

Thoughtful plant combinations bring structure, colour and movement through the seasons while remaining well suited to the climate of southwest France.

Alongside our flower farm, we offer garden care, planting design, pruning and seasonal maintenance for private gardens.

We currently have limited availability for a small number of new gardens this season.

📍 Based between Lot-et-Garonne and Tarn-et-Garonne, working across the region including the surrounding countryside between Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Nous aimons particulièrement créer des massifs de vivaces qui évoluent et deviennent plus beaux au fil des années.
Des associations de plantes réfléchies apportent structure, couleur et mouvement tout au long des saisons, adaptées au climat du sud-ouest de la France.

En plus de notre ferme florale, nous proposons l’entretien de jardins, la plantation, la taille et l’accompagnement saisonnier pour des jardins privés.

Nous avons actuellement quelques disponibilités pour de nouveaux jardins cette saison.

📍 Basés entre le Lot-et-Garonne et le Tarn-et-Garonne, nous travaillons dans toute la région, notamment entre Bordeaux et Toulouse.

We now care for a small number of private gardens across
Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Gers and Dordogne.

Guidée par les principes du niwaki, la taille structurelle permet à la lumière et à l’air de circuler librement dans le houppier, renforçant l’équilibre et la longévité de l’arbre.

Aujourd’hui, nous mettons cette même exigence au service d’un nombre limité de jardins privés en
Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Gers et Dordogne.

Spring tulips at their best 🌷
These photos were taken in a garden my husband managed in the UK, where he trained in horticulture with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

That same knowledge, care, and respect for plants now guides our work here in Lot-et-Garonne.

While many of you know us for our pesticide-free flowers grown for weddings and events, garden design and maintenance is also a key part of what we offer — creating gardens that thrive naturally, season after season.

C’est cette même expertise, ce sens du détail et ce respect des plantes que nous mettons aujourd’hui au service des jardins en Lot-et-Garonne.

Si beaucoup d’entre vous nous connaissent pour nos fleurs cultivées sans pesticides pour les mariages et événements, nous proposons également des services de conception et d’entretien de jardins, afin de créer des espaces qui évoluent harmonieusement au fil des saisons.

It’s been a little while since our last post, but as we welcome the new year, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful customers and clients who have supported La Fleur Blanche during our very first year.

From our pesticide-free flower farm here in the South of France, to our naturally styled floral arrangements, and our gardening services led by our Royal Horticultural Society–trained gardener, your trust and encouragement have meant the world to us.
