I started pastel and charcoal lessons with a French artist. We are starting pastels and here are my oranges. Tutors orange top left. Never used pastels, so this is great as I use acrylics for my larger paintings.

Going to work on lots of still life, fabric folds and birds.

My first Fresco, painting pigment onto damp lime plaster. The yellows go first then you make greens with adding blue. Tricky and you mustn't overwork.

I need to wait a while to see the whites get whiter and colours pale.
