I've just finished this pretty mirror :)
I painted the frame with a soft green chalk paint, added a crackle finish in Milk, then used one of my favourite napkin designs to decoupage little birds, butterflies and flowers all around the frame. I also added butterflies to the 3 k***s. Cutting out all the little pieces is alot of work but I do enjoy it :) Sealed with clear furniture wax.

Just finished this, a framed piece of embossed wallpaper that had been painted very dark brown,I painted it and the frame in Milk chalk paint, then distressed it heavily and sealed with clear wax. 42 x 45cm

Freshly finished handpainted/decoupaged items.

Set of 2 carved Indian nesting tables, very handy to put by your sofa or outside chair :)
I painted them with chalk paint in Milk then heavily distressed the carving and sealed with clear furniture wax.

Here are some beautiful vintage linens, freshly washed and pressed, I love looking at the stunning handiwork when I'm pressing these pieces :)

Large white lace bed cover, 260 x 205cm, very good condition, a couple of small holes as shown in photos, gorgeous piece, photographed on an Australian queen size bed, 25€ SOLD

Pretty runner with butterfly motifs in the lace edgings, very good condition, 84 x 36cm 6€

Gorgeous curtain panel with lace inserts,117cm wide x 96cm long, just needs rings attached to the top points, very good condition, I love it!! 12€

Embroidered tablecloth,87 x 80cm, a couple of tiny marks, otherwise very good condition 10€

I have another large white tablecloth but I forgot to photograph it so I will do that tomorrow and it will be instore on Sunday.

Opening hours in June

Just thought I'd post about changed hours in June, I will do a reminder next week too.

I have to go away for a couple of weeks.

Next week I am open as normal on Wed, Thurs and Fri but then the shop will be closed from Sun 7th to Fri 19th June, reopening on Sunday 21st.

So if you need any gifts or are planning to visit La Vie Vintage on market day please note the closure dates.

Sorry for any inconvenience. I don't usually go away at this time of year but have family commitments.
