We create contemporary textiles for home decor using a variety of heirloom color-grown cottons which Handwoven in Mexico and Guatemala by Indigenous artisans.

Our designs rely on Nature; her rainfall, sunlight and wind affect the texture and colors of our raw materials, making each product beautifully imperfect and unique.

ORIGINS #6 - This pillow embodies the meeting of two extraordinary natural materials: heirloom brown cotton and tixinda, the natural dye derived from caracol púrpura, the rare Pacific snail whose purple is gathered with deep respect for tradition. Both materials are treasures of nature, revered for their rarity and enduring beauty. The result is a piece with exquisite texture and unfading colors, carrying forward a story as lasting as the cotton itself—a true collector’s piece.

Origins is a collection of six pillows, handwoven with rare heirloom cotton from Mexico, grown in its natural color. Harvested only in small quantities each year, this cotton is unruly, precious, and deeply tied to the land and the Indigenous weavers who transform it. Designed for those who understand that timelessness begins in Nature; these pieces carry more than beauty. They embody heritage, perpetuate ancestral knowledge, and bring the rhyme of the earth into the home.

A few weeks ago, the 74th International Art Fair ( ) took over Marseille, transforming the iconic hotel into a vibrant hub for contemporary creation.

As part of this beautiful and bold initiative, I was invited by — alongside talented makers and .garciadelbarrio — to co-create a textile installation: Myriade.

Myriade is a contemporary textile piece made entirely by hand. It consists of a pair of curtains crafted from wild heirloom cotton I sourced, naturally dyed with indigo, and hand-embroidered with mother-of-pearl and nacre fragments.

Inspired by the Mediterranean coast — its textures, colors, and richness — this work evokes the myriads of seashells scattered like fleeting treasures on the sand. Myriade is a tribute to slow craft, nature, and the poetry of the sea.

This is me exactly 10 years ago, in an agave field in Tequila, Mexico.
I just came across this picture, and it’s incredible to reflect on how much has changed in my life, even though it feels like it was taken yesterday.

Back then, I was living alone in a small apartment in the East Village, Manhattan. I had no children, and was still just an idea.

This photo holds a special place in my heart—not only because it was taken in Mexico, a country that has shaped me for over twenty years, but also because, at the time, I had no idea how close I was to my life changing forever.
Just 9 days after this picture was taken, I met my husband in New York City. It’s amazing to think how much was about to unfold. This moment in the agave fields feels like the last breath of the life I knew, before stepping into a new chapter I couldn’t have imagined. 🎢

As September begins, I’m looking forward to a month filled with significant milestones, which makes me really excited.

After over five years of paperwork, negociations and constructions, the house I’m building with my friends on the Pacific Coast of Oaxaca — , will finally be finished. I’m heading there next week to oversee the final touches and select the interior details. It’s been a long journey, and I’m thrilled to see it come to fruition.

Additionally, this month marks a year since I moved to the South of France. Unexpectedly, it has been a transformative year of recovery, and I’m more fulfilled and content than ever. I’ll be sharing more about this in my upcoming newsletter.

On a personal note, it’s also been ten years since I met my partner, a talented music producer working with rare and ancient instruments. It’s remarkable how our passions align—mine being rare historical cotton and his with unique, lesser-known instruments. 🫶🏼

Lastly, I’m thrilled to announce that the e-shop will be reopening after a nine-month hiatus, featuring just a few one-of-a-kind pieces made of heirloom cottons + handpicked vintage items from my travels.

A look back at the work created in April 2024 as part of the collaborative project Les Partisan.e.s Initiated by for .

For this project, I had the pleasure of collaborating with —
Sophie is a textile artist; she embroiders interior landscapes inspired by emotions and mineral textures.
The human dimension of our respective practices, our enthusiasm for the imperfections of the materials, and a color palette inspired by the earth are all elements that brought us together for this second edition of “Les Partisan.e.s.
We collaborated to establish a shape and composition, and then Sophie spent a long time embroidering on the surface of the different cotton textures. Complex shapes that express movement and abundance.
Our work pays tribute to indigenous women who, through the culture and weaving of this rare cotton, maintain their tradition in a globalized world.

The pattern of the work draws an analogy with plants reclaiming their rights, growing, and flourishing in territories subjected to other interests.
