In Paris, finding space is an art.

Every centimetre matters, and storage design begins by giving the things we love the space they deserve.

The long French summer gives us time to look again at what we own—the pieces we reach for, those that deserve care and the collections that have become part of our lives. From that clarity, a custom closet can be shaped around the person and made to belong naturally to the architecture.

A home feels complete when every detail has been shaped around the life within it. In a turnkey interior design project, we give equal thought to the rooms and to the rituals of everyday life: a bathroom given the care it deserves, plush towels, a monogrammed robe and products chosen for the person who will use them.

Everyday rituals deserve a place of their own.

The most personal interiors begin with listening—to the rhythm of a client’s day, the objects they reach for and the rituals they value. One of the luxuries of bespoke design is the ability to translate that understanding into a home where function and beauty have been resolved together from the outset.

In this Paris kitchen, the morning coffee ritual became a custom station recessed within bespoke cabinetry. Neither fully concealed nor permanently on display, its depth, lighting, power and storage were planned together so everything remains close at hand without dominating the room.

The effortless character of Parisian interiors comes from the freedom to mix: silver and porcelain used every day beside woven rattan and objects gathered over time, creating a setting that feels personal rather than prescribed.

Together, the architecture and the objects create the ease of a room designed around the life within it.

One of the first surprises of living in Paris is discovering how much can be asked of a room barely wider than its door.

The WC is often separate from the bathroom—and sometimes contains the only toilet in the apartment. In a space this small, there is nowhere for design to hide.

Here, the floor continues beneath a wall-hung walnut vanity. A basin in honed Zimbabwe black granite brings depth, the polished fixture adds a precise note, and the mouldings continue beyond the doorway, giving the room an architectural presence beyond its dimensions.

Small spaces need fewer gestures—but each one matters more.

Textiles can do much more than dress a window.

In the entrance of this Paris apartment, we used a curtain to discreetly conceal the door to the powder room. Rather than allowing another doorway to interrupt the space, the textile becomes part of the architecture — softening the entrance while introducing pattern, movement and an Art Deco reference with a beautiful velvet by Maison Nobilis

It is often these less expected uses of materials that give an interior its character — finding a practical solution, and making it beautiful.

Not every Parisian window comes with a beautiful view.

This former kitchen was transformed into a master bathroom, its greatest asset: the natural light.

The existing window looked onto a rather ordinary courtyard, so we changed the way it was experienced. A beautifully made linen Roman shade with contrasting trim softens the view while allowing the daylight through.

A mirrored panel and Art Deco-inspired light fixture in polished nickel catch and reflect that light, bringing a little glamour to what was once a very utilitarian corner.

And this is only one corner. The full transformation is coming soon.

Awnings come down, shutters close, and the city begins to soften around the edges as everyone slips away for summer.

There is something beautiful about these small seasonal signs — familiar, understated, and unmistakably Parisian.

Classical is always a good choice.

But classical doesn’t have to mean conventional.

A sculptural bust, placed on a rope table by Christian Astuguevieille — two very different design languages, deliberately brought together. The classical form against Astuguevieille’s almost primitive, graphic texture creates an unexpected contrast within this Parisian interior.

The best rooms aren’t defined by a period or a style. They are shaped by the relationships between the things we choose to bring together.

One of the greatest challenges in a Parisian apartment is often the hallway.

Long, narrow, and often deprived of natural light, these corridors can easily become purely functional. Here, we turned the difficulty of the layout into an opportunity.

New cornices create rhythm along the ceiling and visually break the long perspective. Instead of recessed spotlights, an antique brass lantern from the Marché aux Puces brings warmth and Parisian character.

At the end of the corridor, a newly created niche becomes the destination: a bespoke column by Lichelle Silvestry displaying a 1930s Art Deco vase, also discovered at the Puces.

Good design is about resolving architecture with intention—and making even a passage unforgettable.
