Sculpted in substantial 18k yellow gold, the ring is crowned with a beautifully clear natural rock crystal dome, concealing a brilliant-cut diamond beneath.

Like a magnifying lens, the crystal visually enlarges the diamond and enhances its brilliance, creating a fascinating optical effect — a playful yet sophisticated departure from traditional jewellery design.

This is Van Cleef & Arpels’ iconic Forget-Me-Not clip from the 1940s.

According to the Maison‘s official Heritage archives, only around 100 Forget-Me-Not clips were created during that decade, making it one of the House’s most collectible floral designs.

This example is even more special, as it bears the French inscription ”Ne m‘oublie pas“, a much less commonly seen version. Set with sapphires, diamonds and gold, A piece that rarely comes onto the market, especially for serious Van Cleef & Arpels collectors.
