We have always believed in nature, and in the ancient stories and beliefs that grow from it. 🍃

For the Miao/Hmong people, the dragon is not a fearsome deity, but a fluid, spiritual presence—able to take the form of a snake, silkworm, cloud or branch. Anything can become a dragon.

Inspired by this idea, these earrings take the “dragon’s spine” as their central motif. Made of 66 silver scales and more than 200 handwoven silver rings, each piece is carefully entwined by hand—a study of movement, transformation, and the vitality of nature.

It‘s the people, more than anything, who keep bringing us back.

For the past five years, we’ve been traveling between our studio and the Miao/Hmong villages in southwestern China, working alongside local artisans. We‘ve shared laughters, long conversations, quiet days at the workbench, and the slow process of making by hand.

What started as a collaboration has become a relationship that has shaped the way we think, create, and live. Every piece carries not only craftsmanship, but also the time, trust, and care we’ve built together.🙏

Not long ago, we stepped into the home studio of ceramic artist Sarah for a conversation about art, nature, and the journey of creation.

Sarah shared how she finds inspiration between textiles, the natural world, and ancient civilizations, continuously transforming her experiences into a unique artistic language.

Before becoming a ceramic artist, Sarah was a textile designer and the founder of her own haute couture fashion brand. Her years of exploring fabrics, folds, and textures, combined with her experience at the Louvre researching art history, shaped her deep connection with materials.

During the pandemic, her encounter with clay opened a new chapter, bringing together her past knowledge and a new ceramic expression.

Let’s enter Sarah’s world of *la terre*—where clay becomes sculptural textile, weaving together nature, memory, and time.
