Snake necklace in gold, silver, pearls and lapis lazuli. The head is carved from bone and crowned with a Ceylon sapphire.
A very beautiful example of Codognato’s jewellery, made in Venice throughout the 20th century. A work defined by bold, sculptural craftsmanship, combining gold and silver with dark, archaic imagery rooted in Venetian tradition.
