Colombes Residential Project by Fabrice Ausset

This former paper workshop from the 1930s has been transformed into a home and garden. Two walkways (serving the living areas) overlook a hall with an impressive glass roof, made warm by the choice of vintage objects: punching ball, 1950s-style leather sofa, an entire wall turned into a library, and a Scandinavian wood-burning stove.

The desire to preserve the very essence of industrial materials – steel, concrete, brick – and to blend them with a minimalist aesthetic gives this living space an unexpectedly warm and family-friendly atmosphere.
