Today is the lauching of the Juni Set by .makes 👙
I was part of the tester team for this new pattern, and got to give Leila my feedback on her new swimsuit before its launch (and also send her pictures of my b***y 🤠)
I'm so happy to have been part of this as it was my first time testing a pattern ! If you wish to go for the Juni Set, here is what I feel:
-It is a very fast sewing project, that you will be able to reuse for sewing lingerie as well.
-The hardest part is the fabric, make sure to go slow if you aren't used to jersey and grab the right needles.
-I went for a full black fabric, because it has texture and I didn't want to add more to it, however you can totally colorblock and have a lot of fun. Also I didn't but you can also add pads into the bra.

J'ai fait partie (pour la première fois) d'une team testeur. Le principe, c'est de coudre en avant-première un patron qui va sortir afin d'affiner ses instructions, repérer les éventuelles erreurs, partager nos incompréhensions ou difficultés dans le processus de création, avant sa sortie en vente.
La grosse difficulté dans ce projet, c'est la matière. Il est toujours compliqué de coudre de l'elasthanne, ça glisse, il faut les bonnes aiguilles, s'armer de patience. Du reste, c'est un projet très rapide à réaliser, donc si vous voulez vous lancer dans votre premier maillot de bain: foncez !
Tissu: J'ai utilisé un jacquard gris anthracite de chez et il matchait parfaitement avec la roche volcanique de Madère 🏞
