Watching my BBG (Baby Girl) “momma” has been so beautifully heartwarming! She’s doing it all sooooooo fantastically! Her babies have such fun ahead, by having such an energetic, passionate, fiercely loyal, vivacious, artistic, nurturing, selfless, crazy, respected, LOVING mama to be shaped and steered and cherished by…HAPPIEST MOTHERS DAY my BBG!!! 💝

Today myself, and 2 friends took part in a planned D-Day 80th year Commemoration Exhibit that will start here in Normandy in early June and then begin its World Wide tour in September, eventually making it’s way to the US. I would imagine that it would visit New Orleans because of the honor of the City having the National D-Day WW2 Museum. The Exbit is called “THE LONGEST YARN”, and will be a 260 foot long CROCHETED & KNITTED 3D Display of the key scenes and elements representing June 6 1944. Sounds a bit bizarre, I know, but it will be quite something!!! Check it out at THELONGESTYARN.com it is also on FB.
We worked on the netting that will cover the Church in Carenton, Normandy ⚜️🇫🇷⚜️

Back in Louisiana for a bit, to hug on my family! I love seeing the beautiful colors that have greeted me!!! And waking up to a chorus of birds chirping right outside my window is reminding me of my Normandy mornings! The Crepe Myrtle tree is a “Chirper’s Hangout”!!! 🌸🌸🌸

“Brocanting” (a verb in my dictionary) in France is such a delight! Finding treasured pre-loved and cherished items is a passion of ours. We are continually finding beautiful “vestiges of the past”, that look as though they have lived in their new found place, for decades, decades & decades prior to today. It has been, and continues to be, a joy to “dress” our beautiful lady…Le Chateau! We always say that we think “she” is so thankful for our loving care… and in return, we are soooooooo thankful for her, offering us a place of joy to share and celebrate!!!!

Gasp!!!! Most of this is “not planted”!! Other than the Daffodils, all of this is just a gift from above! Isn’t God the most creative, color-loving artist? Wether I’m walking along the country lanes, or passing a pasture, or field, or an abandoned property, all of them look as if they’ve been “landscaped” and planted for seasonal color. It’s such a treat when we are walking around our property and come across these gifts of nature…I couldn’t have had better success, if I had planted these colorful flowers!!!!
