Hello lovely people yes we are still around. And still renovateding. We are just coming to the end of finishing the new studio . And then we will move down to do the stercace and the little room at the bottom of the stercace. Some photos of the new studio again all done with second hand used painted and recoverd furniture and it all works the bed we bought years ago from friends and it's been cleaned painted mattresses was stored. And it goes in that room perfectly as the room is very large. Little kitten only ment for short stays no cooker a hot plate microwave kettle toaster and coffee mashine. And we are pleased to say Adrian has completed his treatment and is now cancer free ❤️

Hello lovely people that have stayed with us on. Here. Lots going on at home. Adrian had his operation on his thyroid it was removed. They found cancer. it's been taken out but particals could still remain so he's starts treatment next week. Woody is driving me nuts 😂🤣 we have still worked though are renovation. But iv been helping by doing all lifting and carrying when need. We have Just got on with things and we did take a few days out filled the camping car with food and drinks and every thing we needed and just when where ever we landed up. I gave been doning lots in the new studio. More photos to follow.

OK iv not posted for a little while. Lots been going on here and allso lots of little jobs going on around the house. And of course are woody needs lots a attention and Exercise. But I have managed some furniture painting. This little jobs is allmost finished it's been waiting and waiting some photos it's not finished but allmost. . Now is it decoparge yes but not with paper. Its done with silk you can allso use satin. Applied with spray glue. Then stippling with white and gold for shadowing.

The story of all this is not to buy new up cycle recycling is allways best. New Furniture is not made like old furniture. So much love and time and good quality workmanship has gone in to all this beautiful old furniture. If you want modern I understand that's your choice. But it won't last a life time . You can add a little old with modern. I love a homely feel warm rich and comfy look with lots of old nice things . French Italian and old English . I we bought this buffet about ten years ago very heavy but when in place beautiful. I'm allways adding and improving. We still have rooms to renovate so meany things will be moved But not the furniture one a place it will stay another idems can be moved. About till you fined the right place. Are next room well be attached to the barn. It will be full of wood stone rustic lots of old wood with cream and antique soft furnishings.. But we are still working on the new studio. The only modern idems I have will have an old look. I'm trying to keep the look and history of this house.
