◼ An exceptional Charlotte Perriand piece for the discerning collector.

Designed circa 1962 for the mining town of Cansado in Mauritania, this rare four-door “Bloc” sideboard was originally intended for the residences and offices of the mining company's directors.

A striking composition of mahogany, black lacquered steel and graphic sliding panels in white, grey and black. Its architectural presence makes it as compelling today as when it was first conceived.

An uncommon variation of one of Perriand’s most celebrated furniture designs, produced by Galerie Steph Simon.

🧡Small objects, unmistakably Starck.

Designed in 1987 for O.W.O. (Objects Working Office), the “Chab Wellington” coat hooks transform a functional accessory into a sculptural object. Their polished aluminium surfaces and streamlined, pebble-like silhouettes reflect Philippe Starck’s distinctive approach to everyday design.

🧡De petits objets, immédiatement reconnaissables comme du Starck.

Dessinées en 1987 pour O.W.O. (Objects Working Office), les patères « Chab Wellington » transforment un accessoire fonctionnel en objet sculptural. Leurs formes profilées, évoquant des galets, et leur finition en aluminium poli illustrent l'approche singulière de Philippe Starck des objets du quotidien.

Designed by Bruno Rey for Dietiker in the 1970s, this set of two Model 3300 chairs and a matching stool combines sculptural rounded forms, white lacquered beechwood and bright yellow upholstery.

▪️ A secretary that disappears behind its own curves.

Designed by Klaus Vogt for Swiss manufacturer Thut Möbel, the Model 5822 secretary belongs to the Squadra Programm 107 series, developed in the 1960s.

Its slender walnut-veneered structure conceals shelves and a fold-out writing surface behind a continuous wooden tambour door that follows the cabinet’s curved silhouette.

A clever, space-saving approach to Swiss modernist design.

Dessiné par Klaus Vogt pour l'éditeur suisse Thut Möbel, le secrétaire modèle 5822 appartient à la série Squadra Programm 107, développée dans les années 1960.

Sa silhouette élancée en placage de noyer dissimule étagères et écritoire rabattable derrière un rideau à fines lamelles de bois qui épouse les courbes du meuble.

▪️ A study in light and materials by Louis Christiaan Kalff.

Designed for Philips circa 1960, this Dutch modernist pendant lamp combines a wide, translucent fiberglass shade with a central opaline glass diffuser.

The irregular texture of the fiberglass becomes visible when illuminated, giving the lamp a distinctive presence and a soft, diffused glow.

⚡ A touch of Italian design in Charlotte Perriand’s Les Arcs interiors.

Selected by Charlotte Perriand for the mountain residences of Les Arcs, this rare pendant light was designed by Alex Disantavittoria and produced by Staff Milano.
Its green lacquered metal shade features a subtle opening that diffuses the light, while its adjustable height reflects the functional approach to furnishing the compact interiors of Les Arcs.

🧡A museum-worthy piece of design history.

In 1975, Charlotte Perriand took prefabrication to a remarkable level with this complete bathroom cabin designed for Les Belles Challes at Les Arcs 1800.

Developed with Résine Armée, the unit was manufactured from two moulded polyester shells, integrating a bathtub, washbasin, toilet, lighting and storage. Fully assembled off-site, it was lifted by crane directly into the building.

More than a bathroom, this is a piece of architecture and an extraordinary example of Perriand's vision of modern mountain living.
