I only went to London, alone ! Itā€™s been around 10 years since Iā€™ve been but I decided I couldnā€™t not go see my postcard in the Winsor & Newton Art Mail exhibition at the Saatchi Galleryā€¦.i did about 4 passes before I actually found mine šŸ˜‚ I was beginning to think theyā€™d made a mistake!
Iā€™m very proud of myself, that I took the leap and entered, but more that I visited London alone šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ«¶šŸ˜ŽšŸ„³

Iā€™ve not posted in a while, despite the lack of rain the gardens have still been needing my attention so Iā€™ve not been doing much artwork, however not so long ago i decided to take part in Art Mail that Winsor & Newton were doing. I see so many opportunities that I just ignore but this one I liked the idea of people all over the world sharing their art to be displayed in an online gallery or if youā€™re lucky enough to be picked, a physical gallery, the postcards are then auctioned off for charity. Well all I can say is Iā€™m chuffed to bits! I donā€™t like blowing my own trumpet but for this I will šŸ„³Sadly I wonā€™t make it to view in person but if anyone is in London for the next week pop along and see the Art Mail exhibition Saatchi Gallery ā¤ļø

Iā€™m still doing the bloom practice from the creative awakening ā€¦probably not quite 20 mins but love this technique!

Ani wanted painting of birds, which considering birds are one of my most favourite specialist subjects Iā€™ve never really painted any! So challenge acceptedā€¦ I really hoped that they fit in well with her dadā€™s paintings and it looks like they do ā¤ļø thanks for the opportunity Ani Long

Get out and paint, get out of your comfort zone and do something spontaneous and spectacular šŸ¤©
